After a long and busy summer, I'm slowly getting back to my scrapbooking room.

My summer began with of course my new job (which I love). Then a trip to Close To My Heart's annual convention that was held in Dallas Texas. I went with a fellow consultant and friend Lisa, we had a blast touring around the Dallas/Forth Worth area. Best of all was the convention itself. We got to see all the new products, beautiful artwork, information, tips and tricks for making layouts, cards, and 3-D projects. We also got to meet with other consultants new and old. One of the perks to attending convention is all the create & takes the corp brings for us, this year we did 6 cards, album scroll, mini chip board album, and 3 x 2-page layouts. It's 3 full days of crafting, what a vacation!!

After my wonderful "vacation" to Dallas, the kids and I headed off to the zoo, spent lots of time at the cottage with friends and family, did a little visiting with relatives and officially closed my daycare selling everything and getting the basement reorganized. It was time for school, guides and swimming all start.  Now that we have settled down into a schedule/routine I'll be able to get back to my scrapbooking room and start creating again.

I managed to do some digital scrapbooking with Studio J.

Studio J is a free digital scrapbooking program, you can play around and experiment with all you like. There's no fees or membership required, should you decide to purchase the layout it is only $6.95.
